About

About Indus Foundry

Who we are

Indus Foundry supplies solid brass cabinet, furniture and architectural hardware to B2B buyers internationally. The business is run by Aakarsh Agarwal, Founder, and is a unit of Agarwal Global Trade.

How we're set up

We work with selected specialist manufacturing partners in India. We coordinate product specifications, manufacturing, finishing, quality checks, packaging and export, so buyers have one point of contact throughout.

You deal directly with us, from your first enquiry to export. You never need to coordinate with workshops yourself.

Where our hardware is made

Our manufacturing partners are in Moradabad and Aligarh, two of India's best-known centres of brasswork. Pieces are cast and machined by specialist workshops, then finished by hand.

The finish you feel carries the mark of a craftsman's hand.

The Craft

Four steps

01

Casting

Most pieces are cast in solid brass.

02

Filing & machining

Each piece is cleaned up, filed and machined to shape.

03

Polishing

Wheels turn slowly. Cloth and rouge raise the surface — first to satin, then to mirror, then back if a softer finish is desired.

04

Finishing

Antique, brushed, polished, unlacquered or matte black finishes, applied and checked by hand.
